TodayAgenda - Help

Tap the TodayAgenda icon to open calendar
Tap and hold the TodayAgenda icon opens the task list
Double click an item in the plugin executes the standard action for this element
Tap an item to select it
Tap and hold opens the context menu for this element
Tap on clock opens time/alarm settings
Tap the scroll buttons (they only appear if there are more information than the plugin can display) to scroll through the list

With "Up" and "Down" you can scroll through the items, the active item is highlighted
"Right" opens the context menu of the selected element
"Left" collapses/expands day/task list
"Button" (in the middle) executes the default action

Menu items which always appear in the context menu
- "Open": opens the selected element
- "New appointment": creates new appointment
- "New task": creates new task and opens it in Outlook
- "Options...": opens options menu for TodayAgenda
- "Open...": Calendar/Tasks/Clock can be opened
- "About": information about autor, version and help
- "Close menu": close the context menu
- "Categories": display objects of selected category
Context menu enhancements for tasks
- "Completed": change the status of the task to completed
- "Delete": delete task (after confirmation)
Context menu enhancements for appointments
- "Delete": delete appointments (after confirmation)

Display next
- Select how many days in advance tasks and appointments should be displayed ( "1" means just today)
Empty days
- Days without tasks and appointments can be displayed
Show plugin header
- To save even more space on your today screen you can disable the header (top most row consisting of icon and current day/time)
Time
- Displays current time in top most row (to the right of current date)
Compact view
- Shorter date format is used (in the form of "[weekday] [monthday]", i.e. "Mon 15")
- No more wasting a complete line on the today screen just for the date
- Subjects of tasks/appointments are no longer indented behind time:
  12:00:Discussion of specification
  becomes
  12:00:Discussion of specification
PIM application
- Choose between Pocket Outlook, Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion (selection depends on installed programs)
Preferred calendar view
- Choose whether to open week, month or year view

Plugin height
- setting up the height of the plugin in pixels
- if "automatic" is selected, the plugin changes automatically the height as needed, to display all information
- if a concrete height is selected and there are more data to display than would fit into the plugin, scroll buttons appear.
- setting is screen orientation aware
Fixed Height
- If not selected, the plugin reduces its height, to prevent empty space on the today screen
Relative fontsize
- Configure the fontsize, relative to the systems fontsize
  +/-0: system fontsize
  negative values: smaller fontsize
  positive values: bigger fontsize
ClearType
- Smoothes the edges of letters
  - "System Setting": use the settings of your pocket pc
  - "Enabled": cleartype is always on
Word Wrap
- Line breaks in subjects of appointments/tasks are added if required
Indent content
- The complete content of the plugin is indented (except header)
Horizontal line
- Horizontal separators between days are added
Vertical line
- In front of tasks and appointments vertical lines are added

Appointments
- Enable/disable appointments
Private appointments
- Hide/show private appointments
Daily appointments
- Hide/show daily appointments (e.g. "12:00-13:00 canteen" ;-) )
All Day appointments
- Hide/show all day appointments
- "Prefix": here you can set the prefix of all day appointments
Multiday appointments
- Mulitday appointments can be disabled
- That's the way multiday appointments are displayed:
  first appointment: "[start time]-[end date]" (e.g. "12:00-05/11/06")
  following appointments: "multiday"
  last appointment: "[start date]-[end time]" (e.g. "05/12/06-06:00PM")
Past appointments
- Show/hide expired appointments of the current day
Show info bar
- Enable colored rectangle to display category, status or type of appointment
Show location
- Show location in brackets after appointments
Display only start time
- Display only start time of normal appointments

Tasks
- Show/hide tasks
Not time-phased
- hide/show tasks that have neither a start date nor a due date
Overdue tasks
- Show/hide overdue tasks
- Overdue tasks are display in the current day
Display start/due date
- Displays start and due date after task
Task marker
- Here you can set the used prefixes for the tasks (use "Reset" to set the values back to defaults)
Sort by
- Sets the sort criteria of tasks (123/321 ascending/descending order)
Position
- configures where to display the tasks
- "Within list, before appointments"
  - Tasks are assigned to their start and due date
  - Tasks with different start and due date may appear twice (at their start and their end date)
  - Tasks without start or due date appear on the current date
- "Within list, after appointments"
  - Tasks are assigned to their start and due date
  - Tasks with different start and due date may appear twice (at their start and their end date)
  - Tasks without start or due date appear on the current date
- "Before appointment list"
  - ALL appointments are listed at the beginning
- "After appointment list"
  - ALL appointments are listed at the end
- "Enable time frame"
  - You can choose if you only want to see the tasks of the days selected in the "General" tab

Contact's birthdays/anniversaries
- show birthdays/anniversaries in appointment list
Format
- Select how the name of the contact should appear in the list
Prefix
- Define prefixes for birthdays/annversaries

Here you can select the font and the color for a couple of objects
Some elements are already configured
Select the element you want to configure from the list and then use Bold", "Italic" and the color bars to customize it
